the very first time I saw this boss, a week or so after NF launched, I saw the worm spoor almost next to him, and a little light went off in my head

that light said, easy farm

really, how hard is it to piece this together?

This reminds me of a friend I know. He's literally the dumbest guy I know. Can't decipher the difference in spelling between, "hear and here" and he can't multiply anything above multiples of 5 in his head. Yes this is a full grown man I'm talking about here. When you try to teach him something you get the, "my brain doesnt have the capacity to do that" type response. He has no mental disorders or any health conditions. That made me laugh for 3 reasons, I just watched "slapsgiving" from "how i met your mother" and i keep getting the image of barney being slapped extremely hard smashing him over a table.

the other reason is because that guy must be really dumb

the last reason is the irony of what you are talking about and then say "You put together a sentence that's reasonably understand."...what the hell does that mean?

Apparently the wurms don't spawn if there are enemies nearby so you need to clear out the area near the wurms before you can use them.

Doesn't seem to work to run past the first mob for the wurms.

Took you a while to edit in that witty comeback

Anyway try some of the varients, don't just use the cookie cutter version. Also you have to take into consideration that its a monk boss and possibly can't be farmed.

a build doesn't need to be cookie cutter to farm with a degree of efficiency.

but, back on topic. i'm pretty sure you can easily get him in NM with a wurm (use h/h to clear his mob.) i had always thought a superbuffed sliver could take him down, but apparently, that's not the case. not even intensity / ele lord / Ebon Standard do enough damage? oh well. i'll give him a run or two today, see if i can do anything as a necro.

When nightfall came out, this is one of the first bosses I really farmed, those wands are great! I just ele tanked, slivered the whole mob. I don't remember it taking that long or being that difficult.

By cookie cutter build I mean the exact build posted, theres varients for a reason. Again I have read the thread have you? Nice having that intelligent conversation with you.

Too bad that wasn't the bar I quoted.

For those too dumb to already realise this. The bar I quoted is impossible to run, it has 4 PvE Only skills in it, Elemental Lord, Intensity, Ebon Vanguard Standard of Honor, and "Finish Him". Now obviously you could just remove one of those skills, but it appeared as though everyone was too stupid to realise why I said the bar was impossible to run.
